Your talents
Orientation lessons at Meridiem
Discover where your talent lies
In the first year, all students receive orientation lessons to discover their talents and interests. You will be introduced to three areas: Research & Design (R&D), Sports and Arts. At the end of the first year, you choose a direction in which you will further specialize: Technasium (R&D), Sports or Arts.
An important part of the orientation lessons is the subject citizenship. Here you will learn about our democracy, our legislation, and how to live together in a good way and be a ‘citizen’.
Sport
At Portus Meridiem, sports are more than just physical education. Sports and exercise not only help you stay fit, but also strengthen important skills such as teamwork, communication, discipline, and self-confidence.

Art
At Portus Meridiem, we believe Art is important because it helps you to better understand yourself and the world around you. Art teaches you to look and express yourself in a different way. This gives you a broader perspective on the world and helps you discover what something means to you.
